R might be not user-friendly at a first glance and getting errors at the beginning might be quite frustrating. Many R courses are general and wants to be thorough by teaching every possible aspects of R. Here you will not learn all of R but only what is interesting us: flow and mass cytometry data.
This course is different from what is taught at other places. This course is specialised in R and in immunology. If you are very proficient in R and know how to use a vignette and if you know everything about immunology as well, then this course is not for you.
Here you will be taught our favorite parts of R in immunology. You will learn the following techniques:
Pre-processing flow and mass cytometry files in R
Clustering analysis: PhenoGraph, FlowSOM, DensVM
Dimensionality reduction: tSNE, PCA, UMAP, Diffusion Map
Visualisation tools: how to quickly identify immunological patterns in your flow or mass cytometry data
Our favorite tricks and further analysis like ClusterX, ImmunoClust and a method to be able to customise your own analysis pipeline. Analyse your CyTOF data yourself in an easy and efficient way!
Regular updates: how to merge samples together in R, how to compare efficiently clustering methods in one go, what are the newest techniques available explained for beginners. You don't need to be afraid of R anymore!
